Don’t Say My Name is a powerful film that presents the ugly reality of our times! Over 27 million people are being held captive today in what is considered modern day slavery. Every 30 seconds someone new falls victim to human trafficking. This reality is much closer than we think.
Don’t Say My Name is based on true stories, presents the life of a young teenager, Adriana, a ballet prodigy who dreams of becoming a professional dancer. She lives with Helena, a drug addict single mother. Helena is deceived by her boyfriend, Larry, a known drug dealer and human trafficker, into selling her daughter into sex slavery. After spending time in captivity, she manages to escape and is rescued and taken to the hospital. Lacking identification, she is transferred to “Maria’s House,” a shelter for minors who have survived abuse, harrowing journey of survival as she navigates the road to recovering and healing.
A human trafficking investigation, led by ICE Agent, Officer Colbert, has directed its focus to movements in Florida and Latin America to bring down the sex trafficking networks that involve corrupt governments, cartels, and other powerful individuals around the globe. Adriana’s boyfriend, Arturo’s, efforts to find his girlfriend, and Helena struggle with an addiction while not knowing what happened to her daughter. Adriana tormented by her past, an unexpected miracle occurs in her life to get to pursue her dreams.
Many people have been impacted by the story of Jana, which shows the transforming power of God’s love. Based on a true story, Jana is a disoriented, empty and rebellious young woman who lets the pain, guilt and rejection of her father lead her to become part of a mysterious satanic organization. Stranded, she fights to escape and find the way out of so many failures to rebuild her life. The movie’s mission is to present family values and spread the Word of Jesus to all nations during these end times, hoping to reach the lost on the wrong path and rescue the ones who are in false doctrines.
